IMO it’s always the same debate between a BMW and Merc. People compare them because they are in similar price brackets, but I think they cater slightly different clientele. Traditionally BMWs focus more on driving dynamics vs Merc is about luxury.
So I think both of them trying to chase volume against gussied up Volkswagens is wrong.
